available online except for the few that we do not own copyrights
to, and each month we add the contents of the latest edition. Top

(cover pages), you are directed to the online version of the Table of

How do I search the website?
There are two ways you can search our website. First, you can search
by keyword(s) using the Search box at the top of each page of our
web site or The World & I Archive page. Second, you can take
advantage of our Advanced Search capability, which allows the users
fast and time-saving search options as noted below:

o Sort the results by relevance or date

Subscription Questions How much does a subscription cost? You may choose from a number of subscription options, depending
on how you intend to use our online Educational Resource and
Archive.
If you would like to share this resource with your students and
colleagues, order one of the Multi-Access subscriptions and also
receive a print copy of our monthly magazine. If you would like to
use the online service just for yourself, the Print & Online Single
Access is a good choice. Either one allows anytime, anywhere access

process. The good news is that your credit card will not be charged
if you could not complete the sign-up process. Please try again, and

I forgot my username and password. How can I find out what they
are?
The easiest way is to overwrite your previous login ID (username and
password) with a new set by re-registering, using these steps:
1. Go to The World & I homepage (www.worldandilibrary.com).
2. Click on Print Subscriber Register in the Login box.
3. Enter your Subscriber Number (the 5- or 6-digit set of numbers
after any zeroes above your name on the mailing label of the
magazine) and Zip Code (non-U.S. subscribers type in 55555 for the

How do libraries access The World & I Online? The World & I enables access
in one of two ways:
1. We can enable access based on a range of IP addresses.
2. If your institution does not own a range of IP addresses, The
World & I Online also offers access using the Bookmark Method. A
