About
World & I
The World & I is a multifaceted monthly publication that presents a broad
range of thought-provoking reading in politics, science, culture, humanity,
and more in these seven sections– Current Issues, The Arts, Life, Natural
Science, Culture, Book World, and Modern Thought.
Since its inception in 1986, The World & I has been accumulating a wealth of
timeless articles written by scholars and experts--all of which are now
available in our Online Edition. Free from gratuitous sex and violence, The
World & I Online comprises the entire publication. Special features include
over 1,000 Teacher’s Guide activities that meet the National Standards, a
Book Review Archive with a search capability of its own, and a series of
Special Collections.
Our Special Collections feature topics such as Worldwide Folktales, Peoples
of the World, Profiles in Character, Millennial Moments, In the Footsteps of
Lincoln, The Constitution and the Making of America, and more. Beautiful
visual aids breathe life and meaning into the articles.
Over 10,000 schools now subscribe to The World & I. The publication has
proven to be the leader year after year, in delivering an education program
that no other magazine has offered before.
